I got this tin from the Thrift store for .99 cents. I ripped off the paper, cause frankly... it was ugly and drab. But I liked the ink distressing they had done on the metal itself. You can't really see it in this picture though. So I took out some of my scrapbooking stuff and went crazy on it. I ooohed and awed over this tin.Well this is my version. Sorry the picture isn't that great. I really need a new camera. I couldn't find a butterfly I liked to go on it. Though I may add one at some point. Flower up close Other Flower A gift for a very helpful friend.
Back
I hope she enjoys it, cause i really appreciate her presence in my life. Others saw it and now I have been asked to make another. So I need to get this back healed soon, so I can finish it!
Wendy Ann is a SAHM, cousin of Heather's. I have one child still at home, but 7 between my husband and I. I have been scrapbooking for years, actually began in High School, I won't tell you how long that is. :) . I love to scrapbook. I like to make layouts, mini books, paper bag albums, cards, ATCs'. I love to read, I average 35-45 books a year. I also paint watercolor. And love to cross stitch, which has been years since I have done a project.
About Heather
Heather is a Stay at home, Homeschooling mom of four who has to be very creative in sneaking in her Scrapbook time. She loves to knit, crochet and spin yarn. Heather is now teaching a monthly make and take class for her church women's group. In addition to her hobbies she is an avid scouter and observer of nature. She is working on Wood Badge in BSA and is a budding naturalist and during the summer she leads a nature school within our homeschool group. You can find her as a contributing writer on Exploring Colorado and Beyond and TJED-Mothers.
This year you will also see some of my non paper crafts as crafty does not have to mean paper crafting. Things like my knitting and other stuff... we'll see.
